Since September, Sheila is the head of the department for “Network and Information Systems’ Security (NISS)” at the ILR (Institut Luxembourgeois de Régulation). The main objective of this department is the national implementation of the EU NIS Directive. Prior to this position Sheila worked in Cyberdefence within the Luxembourg Armed Forces. She holds a PhD in Computer Science with specialisation in network security from the University of Luxembourg and the University of Lorraine. During her studies Sheila received a Fulbright grant for visiting researcher at the Purdue University in the US.
