Barbara Carminati is an associate professor at the University of Insubria. Her research interests are mainly related to security, privacy and trust for innovative applications. She has been co-PI of two research projects related to access control during emergencies funded by European Office of Aerospace Research & Development (EOARD)/US Air Force Office Scientific Research. She has been the EIC of the Computer Standards & Interfaces journal, Elsevier press. Prof. Carminati is in charge of promoting workforce diversity in the field of cybersecurity, and she's one of the main promoters of the "Women in Cybersecurity - a Manifesto for Today" within CONCORDIA.
